This double threat National and International Makeup Artist / Hair Designer has had a passion for beauty, glam and an eye for fashion from a young age. Her fascination for makeup came about when she started modeling at the age of 15, and she has been doing makeup ever since.
She has extensive training and has worked with MAC, Bare Escentuals, Guerlain, Motives and Mary Kay Cosmetics. Yara is a licensed cosmetologist and has been doing hair and makeup for 10+ years. After working for different cosmetics companies and hair salons, she decided to venture out on her own and focus more on all special event makeup and Hair.
She has had the privilege to work in many projects; photo shoots, national commercials, national /international editorials, weddings, quinces, fashion shows, with musicians, etc. She has also done how to videos for the Tyra Banks website TypeF. Her work has been shown on Fox 13 Good Day Tampa Bay, CNN Latino, Mira TV, Creative Loafing, Vocess International Magazine, Panache Vue Magazine, What’s Hot Tampa Bay, Fashion Frenzy Magazine, Veux Magazine, Eccentric Edge Magazine, Elegant Magazine, Like a Lion Magazine and Ellements Magazine. Her career continues to expand as she travels to different locations, national and international.
It makes her extremely happy and proud to know people can depend on her to make them feel and look their best, from that moment on she realized that enhancing a person's beauty is what she was called to do. She strongly believes that all the roads eventually lead up to what we are meant to do in our life.
One must dream, believe in yourself, and it can/will be achieved. It all starts with a dream and with a bit of faith it will be accomplished!
